Intel having problems in production Atom
The list of products that incorporate the new Intel processors by Atom is now very small, although virtually all market makers have expressed interest in them, something that has brought problems for Intel.
The fact is that, according to analysts and the excessive demand for Intel Atom cause for its launch date, officially in June 2008, Intel can only distribute 40% of the total demand for processors. The reasons are unknown and Intel has not made any comment on that, although increased production of these new buses to allow any demand be covered without problems as early as the end of the year.
And is not it for less. The Intel Atom are not the most powerful microprocessor market, but those who consume less, about the 2-3 watts TDP compared to the 20-25 that usually have more conventional processors for notebooks.
