Robot Chicken is an animated series that uses the technique of stop-motion animation. It was created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich and is underwritten by the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network. The series parody countless situations in which involve television series, film actors, musicians and video games.

The initial sequence of the series justifies its name, and this is a chicken that was hit and was resurrected and converted into a robot by a mad scientist who forced her to see a number of television series as a method of torture (a parody Clara The Orange Mechanics). The theme of the original series was composed and performed by Les Claypool, Primus bassist and vocalist.

In Latin America the series was released in April 2006 within the same block. In the United Kingdom is issued within the Adult Swim block in the television channel Bravo.
