Microsoft sanction

Microsoft announced today that it has appealed against the sentence from 899 million euros to her imposed by the European Commission for having imposed high prices in order to discourage competition in the field of computer programs. “Microsoft has today lodged with the court of first instance of the Court (European) a request for annulment of the decision taken by the Commission on February 27,” reads in a press release distributed by Microsoft. “We filed this appeal to try to obtain clarity by the Court.”
