With the press release below annex, ASUS recently presented to the general public TV card My Cinema - PE9400 Combo. This is a very versatile solution, compliant with the PCI Express bus and able to provide the user with the ability to receive, display and record not only the digital television signal (ATSC / QAM), but also the analog (NTSC, now, editor’s note).
According to the producer, My Cinema - PE9400 Combo includes a powerful MPEG2 encoder with which movies can generate high-quality, capturing frames from the television signal input, without burdening the CPU of the system on which it is installed. Still, the TV card My Cinema - Combo has PE9400 features PBP (Picture Beside Picture) and PIP (Picture in Picture).
